What to know before you arrive
Scarborough is on the opposite side of Toronto from where you arrive. Coming from Buffalo you enter the city from the west, and Scarborough is the far east, so the whole of Toronto sits between you and your destination. That is what makes this one of the longest GTA runs, and it is why the 401 matters more than the distance. The pickup is planned around your landing time, because the same address can be a very different drive at two in the afternoon and six in the evening.
For visitors the draws are at the edges: the zoo and the Rouge park in the northeast corner, and the Bluffs along the lake. For residents it is a large district of neighbourhoods in between. A zoo drop and a lakeside address are nowhere near each other even though both are Scarborough, so the street or the venue is what we plan from.
