Buffalo Airport Shuttle FAQ
Clear answers about booking, flat pricing, the Canada border crossing, passports, luggage and where we drive.
Booking your shuttle
How do I book a Buffalo Airport shuttle?
Submit the booking form with your pickup and drop-off addresses, travel date and time, passenger count and flight details. Our dispatch team reviews the request and confirms your fixed rate and pickup. You can also call us if you prefer to book by phone.
How far in advance should I book?
Book as early as you can, especially for weekends, holidays, large events and the summer tourism season. Early booking gives dispatch the best chance to confirm your preferred vehicle and time. Same-day and next-day requests are welcome when availability allows.
Can I book a one-way or a round trip?
Both. Choose one-way for a single transfer, or add your return details in the same request so your airport return is planned at the same time.
Is my booking confirmed as soon as I submit the form?
Submitting the form sends a request to our dispatch team, who confirm availability and reply with your fixed rate and pickup details. For larger groups and long-distance trips we confirm a quote before the ride is locked in.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. Contact dispatch as early as possible with any change to your date, time, passenger count or destination so we can adjust the plan.
Do you handle large groups?
Yes. We carry up to 12 passengers by assigning two minivans that travel together, so your whole group stays on one plan with room for luggage.
Pricing and fees
Is the price flat or metered?
Every fare is a flat, fixed rate confirmed before you book. There is no meter, no surge pricing and no surprise charges.
Is the price per vehicle or per person?
Rates are per vehicle, one-way, for your whole group, not per person. One clear price covers the trip.
Are there extra fees for the border wait?
No blanket border-wait fee. Your flat rate includes the first 35 minutes at the border. On the rare occasion a crossing runs longer, additional time is billed transparently at $35 per hour.
Are tolls and bridge fees included?
Your quoted flat rate is the price of the trip. Any standard bridge or toll charges for the route are accounted for in the rate we confirm, so there are no surprise add-ons at drop-off.
How much is a shuttle from Buffalo Airport to Niagara Falls, Canada?
The flat rate to Niagara Falls, Canada and the Fallsview hotels is $105 per vehicle, one-way. Other destinations have their own flat rates, all listed on our pricing page.
Do you charge more for early morning or late night trips?
We operate 24 hours a day and confirm your rate up front. Your fixed price is set when you book.
When and how do I pay?
Payment can be made by cash or card. Cash has no added fee. Card payments include a 4% processing fee, disclosed up front, never added as a surprise. For cross-border trips, payment is collected before crossing the international border.
Border, documents and Canada travel
Do I need a passport to cross into Canada?
Yes. Every traveler is responsible for carrying a valid passport or other accepted travel document. Requirements vary by citizenship and age, so check official government guidance before your trip.
Can I take an Uber or Lyft from Buffalo Airport to Canada?
No. Rideshare apps do not cross the US and Canada border, so an Uber or Lyft cannot complete a trip into Ontario. A private cross-border shuttle like ours handles the full route and the crossing.
Does the driver handle the border crossing?
Your driver knows the Buffalo crossings and drives the route. Admission is always decided by government border officers, not by the driver or the company, so carry your documents and answer the officers directly.
How long does the border crossing take?
Most crossings are quick, but wait times vary by time of day, season and traffic. Your flat rate includes the first 35 minutes at the border to keep pricing predictable.
Which bridge do you use to cross into Canada?
Depending on your destination and conditions, drivers use the Peace Bridge, the Rainbow Bridge or the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. Your driver chooses the best crossing on the day you travel.
Do children need documents to cross the border?
Children are subject to their own document requirements, and a consent letter may be needed when a child travels without both parents. Check official government guidance before traveling.
Do you drive within Canada, such as Toronto to Niagara Falls?
Our service runs between Western New York and Ontario in both directions, plus trips within Western New York. We do not run trips that start and end inside Canada.
Airport pickup and flight timing
Where do you pick up at Buffalo Airport?
We pick up at Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF). When we confirm your booking, we send clear instructions for where to meet your driver after you land.
Do you track my flight?
Yes. Add your flight number to your booking and we track your arrival, adjusting your pickup so your driver is ready when you land, even if your flight is early or delayed.
What if my flight is delayed or lands late at night?
We operate 24/7 and monitor tracked flights. If your arrival time moves, your pickup moves with it. For late arrivals, book ahead so a driver is scheduled for your flight.
How long after landing until we leave?
Once you have your bags and reach the pickup point, your driver is ready to go. Allow extra time if you are connecting from an international arrival and clearing customs.
Can you pick up from downtown Buffalo, a hotel or a home for my departure?
Yes. We provide pickups from homes, hotels, offices and venues across Western New York and Ontario for trips to the airport or any destination we serve.
Do you serve the Amtrak or train stations?
Yes. We provide transfers to and from local stations and the airport. Include your station and time in your request.
Vehicles, luggage and child seats
What vehicles do you use?
A sedan for one to three passengers, an SUV for small families with extra luggage, and a minivan for up to six passengers. For groups of seven to twelve, we assign two minivans that travel together.
How many passengers can you carry?
Up to 12 passengers. Groups larger than a single minivan travel in two assigned minivans so everyone stays together with room for bags.
Can you handle a lot of luggage?
Yes. Tell us how many passengers and bags are traveling and we will match the right vehicle so everything fits comfortably.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes. Add your child seat needs to your booking so the trip is planned with the correct seats.
Is the ride private?
Always. Every booking is a private vehicle for your group only. You are never placed in a shared ride or routed through other passengers.
Are your drivers insured and professional?
Yes. Our drivers are professional and insured, and they are experienced with the Buffalo and Niagara border crossings.
