London is the far end of our regular Ontario coverage, and people rarely make a trip this long for a view. The three reasons that bring airport travelers here are medical care at the London Health Sciences Centre, the university, and family. Each has its own practical shape. A hospital trip needs the right hospital and the right entrance, because University Hospital and Victoria Hospital are on different sides of the city. A campus trip at move-in needs the luggage volume. A family trip needs the street.
The length is the other thing. A run this long is planned differently: we track the flight more closely because a delay at BUF is a delay at the far end, we build the return into the same booking because arranging a ride back from London at short notice is hard, and we are straightforward about the time it takes rather than quoting a best case. - Canada Life Place, the downtown arena, opened in October 2002 as the John Labatt Centre, was later known as Budweiser Gardens, and took its current name in October 2024. It is the largest such venue in southwestern Ontario.

- From Buffalo Airport the route crosses the Peace Bridge and runs inland through Hamilton and the 403 to the 401, then west to London.
